Sun, soundchecks, stunning luxury and spectacular vista.
These are the ingredients to the recipe for a successful celebration! Plus it isn’t always that work rhymes with birthday/anniversary parties for two legends at one of the hottest spots of the French Riviera. So we ended up crafting a once-in-a-lifetime evening at the coastal town of Saint-Tropez in the southeastern region of France.
Trust us when we say that the amount of work put in was just equal to the beauty of that festive Wednesday night. Working on the final gig was truly something. Heavyweights were lined up such as Chaka Khan, Jeffrey Osborne and Cheryl Lynn just to name a few of these gems. Everything was magic for such a special couple — King and Queen of the Lakers scene before the Kobes or Lebrons.
Imagine a five-star dinner in the openair of the Citadelle of Saint-Tropez that was privatized with live concerts gave by legends of the 80s and 90s. The stage was set up on the grounds of the Citadelle and many premium brands were up there. From world-famous Michelangelo’s Mamo oven-made pizzas to L’Artisan Glacier and D’USSÉ cognac — all made the culinary experience exceptional! If you still had some space after the gastronomic dinner you could still treat yourself to exquisite delicacy during & after the concerts. But the greatest achievement was seeing the VIP guests and our host Magic and his wife Cookie enjoying the night that was true paragon of perfection. Seeing Love being celebrated and the life of an iconic NBA legend was worth everything! We are so grateful to have been part of this magic celebration.
