Since coronavirus closed workplaces in many cities worldwide, people’s work habits and environments have changed dramatically, with millions of professionals suddenly working from home. From affluent teleworkers to young urbanites and families with children who have been homeschooled — everyone is carving out the perfect workspace. No matter the background setting, thanks to another pandemic office staple — the videoconferencing platform Zoom — people are able to change their actual background to what appears to be a nicer office during video calls.
